Genesis 4:25-26 Seth and Enosh Born and Prayer Began
25 And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, "For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed." 26 And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the LORD. NKJV
Facts revealed:
Y
Eve’s second conception produced Seth; and Eve
recognized that it was Elohiym (God) Who made it possible and claimed Seth as the replacement
for Abel, whom Cain killed. This
happened 130 years after creation of Adam. [Genesis 5:1-3]
Y Seth also had a son and he named him Enosh. At first glance it appears that it happened immediately, but a look at Genesis 5:1-6 shows that it was after he reached the age of 105.
Y
So it was at least 235 years after creation that
men began to “call on the Name of Yahowah (the Lord).”
