SEQUENCE OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION

The Great Tribulation period will be ushered in by the covenant of seven years the Antichrist will confirm between Israel and many nations. It appears that there will be a peace agreement signed by Israel and when the Antichrist comes to power he will confirm it establishing it with many nations.  It is possible that the United States the UN and Russia might also be signatories on the confirmation document. Today even Japan, China, and North Korea are seeking peace in the Middle East. See Daniel 9:27

The peace agreement will cause people to say "Peace and Safety" not knowing that very soon after the disarming of Israel the Gog & Magog invasion of Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 will take place.

The Signs of the approaching end will be followed by a brief time of deceptive peace, and the sequence is laid out for us in the book of Revelation beginning with the Seals of chapter six.

1. Rider Conquering and to conquer. Revelation 6:1-2
2. Rider's power to remove peace from the earth causing men to kill one another. Revelation 6:3-4
3. Rider brings famine, pestilence, earthquakes, and scarcity. Revelation 6:5-6
4. Rider brings Death and Hell killing 1/4 of the population of the earth. Revelation 6:7-8
5. Souls under the altar in Heaven ask, "How long before the time of vengeance. Revelation 6:9-11
6. Signs in the Heavens and on the Earth. Revelation 6:12-17

· These signs are accompanied by great fear of mankind realizing that the time of the Wrath of God and of the Lamb has now come and there is no escape.

God allows an intermission in the plagues
Revelation 7:1-17

During this intermission, a number of vital things are accomplished and revealed.

· 144,000 virgin men, twelve thousand from each of the twelve specifically named tribes of Israel receive the protective Seal of the Living God.

· A great multitude is revealed that will come out of Great Tribulation washed in the blood of the Lamb.
They come out to receive a special blessing and serve God day and night in His temple throughout the Kingdom age.
For them, all problems and trials are past and they will find themselves sheltered by God Himself.
Their praise of God is, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."

· The angles, 24 Elders, and 4 living creatures fall on their faces before the throne and worship God saying, "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever, Amen.

The items mentioned in the first six Seals were included in the "Signs of the End Time" followed by an intermission while the 144,000 are sealed by God to protect them from the impact of the Wrath to be poured out upon all the earth. Here also is mentioned the Great Multitude of Saints who will be slain during the Great Tribulation and their place of service during the Kingdom Age to follow.

Notice also that the worship of the Lamb is equal to the worship of God Who is seated on the throne as expressed by the great multitude and confirmed by the Amen of the Angels, the Elders, and the 4 living creatures around the throne just as it was seen previously in Revelation 4:8-11, 5:8-10, 5:11-12, and 5:13-14.

7. The seventh Seal brings:

· A half hour of silence in Heaven. Revelation 8:1

· After which the seven angels receive the seven trumpets of the plagues of the Great Tribulation. Revelation 8:2

· Smoke of incense ascends before God with the prayers of the Saints. Revelation 8:3-4

· Fire from the altar in Heaven is cast to the earth causing Voices, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. Revelation 8:5

· The Seven Angels prepare to sound their Trumpets. Revelation 8:6

Great Tribulation resumes

SEVEN TRUMPETS OF PLAGUES

1. Hail, fire, and blood. Revelation 8:7
2. Great burning mountain cast into the sea, Revelation 8:8-9
• 1/3 of the sea becomes blood, 1/3 of the creatures in the sea die, 1/3 of the ships are destroyed.

3. Great Star Wormwood brings bitterness to 1/3 of the fresh water and many men die. Revelation 8:10-11
4. Darkness 1/3 of the day and 1/3 of the night become black Revelation 8:12
• Supernatural warning as an Angel flies through the midst of Heaven warning of the three Woes yet to come. Revelation 8:13

5. Locust from the Bottomless Pit. (First Woe) Revelation 9:1-11
   (Beginning Second Woe) Revelation 9:12
6. Two hundred million man army kill 1/3 of the remaining population of the earth. Revelation 9:13-19
• With this plague over 1/2 of the original population of the earth have been killed.
  The survivors do not repent Revelation 9:20-21

Angel with the little scroll

· Mighty angel came down from Heaven, clothed with a cloud, a rainbow on his head, his face like the sun, his feet like pillars of fire, a little book in his hand, his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land. Revelation 10:1-11

Plagues of the seven thunders are not revealed
Voice from Heaven said "Do not write what the seven thunders uttered. Revelation 10:3-4"

Angel's message

· End of time (no more delay) Revelation 10:6

· Mystery of God is finished with the plagues included in the seventh trumpet Revelation 10:5-7

· Command to prophecy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings. Revelation 10:8-11

· The kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdom of our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever. Revelation 11:15

· Twenty four Elders worship God for taking His great power, reigning, and bringing vengeance on those who destroyed the earth. Revelation 11:16-18

· The Temple of God was opened in Heaven and the Ark of His Covenant was see in His Temple Revelation 11:19

· Lightnings - voices - thunders - Earthquakes - great hail Revelation 11:19

• Salvation, strength, the Kingdom of our God, the power of His Christ has now come.

• Therefore, rejoice you Heavens and you who dwell in them.
• Woe to the earth, the devil has come down with great wrath, he knows he has only a short time.

• The remnant of the woman's seed Revelation 12:17
• Those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
• Attacked by the Dragon who was enraged and went out to make war against them.

Great Tribulation resumes

• Introduction of the antichrist Revelation 13:1-10
• He is given the Power, Throne, and Great Authority of the Dragon.
• The world is dazzled by his miraculous healing from a deadly wound.
• The world worships the Dragon and the Beast (Antichrist).
• He speaks blasphemies and arrogant things.
• He has authority to continue 42 months (3 1/2 years).
• He has power to make war against the Saints and to overcome them.
• He is given power over all kindreds, tongues, and nations.
• This calls for patience and endurance on the part of the Saints.
• Introduction of the false prophet Revelation 13:11-18
• He exercises all the Power of the Antichrist.
• He causes those who dwell on the earth to worship the Antichrist.
• He performs great miraculous wonders even calling fire to come down from Heaven on the earth in the sight of men.
• He deceives those who dwell on the earth by means of the miracles he has been given power to do.
• He commands those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the Beast (Antichrist).
• He is given power to give life to the image of the Beast (Antichrist) so that the image of the Beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the Image of the Beast to be killed.
• He causes all, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one may buy or sell except the ones who have the mark, the name of the Beast, or the number of his name 666.

See also the visions of the book of Daniel pertaining to these two people and their associates who are also dealt with in chapters 17, 18, and 19 of Revelation as they fulfill their work and receive their reward in the Lake of Fire a thousand years before Satan is cast into the Lake of fire at the Great White Throne Judgment. Time frame remaining for Israel and the Saints.

• 144,000 virgin men of Israel , redeemed from the earth, with the Name of the Father of the Lamb on their foreheads follow the Lamb wherever He goes - They sing their new song known only to them. Revelation 14:1-5
• An angel flying in mid heaven with the everlasting Gospel for all people, warning to fear God, give Him glory, and worship Him Who created all things, for the hour of His judgment has come. Revelation 14:6-7
• A second flying angel following the first announcing the fall of Babylon. Revelation 14:8
• A third flying angel warning of eternal torment in fire and brimstone for all who receive the MARK OF THE BEAST, or who worships the Beast and his image. Revelation 14:9-11
• Encouragement for the Saints of God calling them to remain faithful. Revelation 14:12
• Voice from Heaven - "Blessed are those who die in the Lord from this time forward." Their works follow them. Revelation 14:13

Another intermission
Signs in Heaven

• Sign of angels with sharp sickles reap the earth and gather the clusters into the WINEPRESS OF THE WRATH OF GOD. Revelation 14:14-20
• Seven angels in Heaven having the seven last plagues in which the WRATH OF GOD is complete. Revelation 15:1
• Victorious Saints in Heaven stand on the Sea of Glass sing the song of Moses and of the Lamb. Revelation 15:2-4

Seven vials of plagues, the last of the wrath of God

1. Grievously painful sores on men who had the MARK OF THE BEAST and who worshiped his image. Revelation 16:2
2. The entire sea became blood. Revelation 16:3
3. Fresh water became blood. Revelation 16:4

Behold, I am coming like a thief, blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame. Revelation 16:15

Conclusion of the wrath of god follows:

• On earth there are voices, thunder, lightnings, a great earthquake, and great hail.
• God turns His attention toward Babylon the Great.
• Men blaspheme God because of the hail. Revelation 16:18-21

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT Revelation 17:1-18

• The Beast identified = The Beast who will ascend out of the Bottomless Pit and go into Perdition.
• Seven Heads = Seven mountains on which woman sits.
• Ten horns = Ten kings who receive authority as kings for one hour with the Beast.
• The Waters = Peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues.
• The Woman = The great city which reigns over the kings of the earth (Rome ruled at the time of this writing).

These are the things that bring the Wrath of God and His destruction on those who practice them:

• Abusiveness toward God's people
• Self indulgence
• Sins of disobedience
• Sexual sins, fornication, adultery, incest, homosexuality, bestiality, etc.
• Wickedness
• Failure to consider the latter end.
• Witchcraft in all its forms.
• Trusting in your own devises.
• Thinking that God does not see or know.
• Lack of mercy.
• Self assertiveness.
• Placing confidence in "Science" technology, and things, instead of trusting and acknowledging God Most High.

INTERPRETATION OF BABYLON THE GREAT Revelation 17:1-18

• The WATERS = Peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.
• The WOMAN = A city with world wide control (At the time it was written that city was Rome)
• The SCARLET BEAST = Satan himself as he embodies the Antichrist.
• Seven Heads = Seven mountains on which the woman sits.
• Ten Horns = Ten kings who receive power at the time of the Antichrist.
• The Lamb overcomes them, He is LORD OF LORDS, AND KING OF KINGS.
  Those with Him are the called, chosen, and faithful.

RESPONSE ON EARTH TO THE FALL OF BABYLON THE GREAT Revelation 18:9-19

• Kings of the earth will weep and lament.
• Merchants of the earth will weep and mourn because no one buys their merchandise.
• Shipmasters and company, all who trade by the sea will stand far away and cry out, "What city is like this great city?" They will throw dust on their heads and cry, weeping and wailing because of the loss of their great source of wealth.

SCENE IN HEAVEN Revelation 18:20 and Revelation 19:1-10
