GREAT WHITE THRONE
Revelation 20:11-15

The basis of judgment at the Great White Throne, will be the same as the basis of judgment at the beginning of the Millennium Kingdom recorded.

This judgment will be accurate and just. They will be judged for their WORDS, their ACTIONS, their ATTITUDES, their STEWARDSHIP, their THOUGHTS and their MOTIVES.

ALL WILL BE REVEALED

  • For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, nor hidden that shall not be made known. Luke 12:2

SATAN IS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE  Revelation 20:10

  • The Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and brimstone where the Beast and the False Prophet are.
  • They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

END OF PRESENT HEAVEN AND EARTH

  • I saw a GREAT WHITE THRONE and Him who sat on it. Earth and Heaven fled away from before Him, and no place was found for them.  Revelation 20:11, Matthew 5:17-18, Luke 21:33, Hebrews 1:10-12, 1 John 2:17, Revelation 21:1, Isaiah 34:4, Isaiah 13:13, Isaiah 28:2, Isaiah 48:20, Isaiah 51:6, Isaiah 65:17, Psalm 75:3, 2 Peter 3:5-12

THOSE JUDGED AT THE GREAT WHITE THRONE

  • Those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not worshiped the Beast or his image, and had not received his Mark on their foreheads or on their hands, (were rewarded at the Judgment Seat of Christ at the beginning of the Millennium Kingdom) they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.  Theirs was the first Resurrection.  Revelation 20:4-6
  • The rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished.  Revelation 20:5
  • When the Thousand Years were ended, Satan will be released from his prison in the Bottomless Pit, and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the ends of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, their number is as the sand of the sea, they went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.  Fire came down out of Heaven and devoured them.  Revelation 20:7-9
  • And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged by the things written in the books according to what they had done.
  • The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead that were in them. And each one was judged according to what he had done.  Revelation 20:11-13

THE BOOK OF LIFE AND THE LAKE OF FIRE

·         Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.  Revelation 20:15

DEGREES OF PUNISHMENT

  • Those who sin and rebel knowingly will receive a more severe punishment than those who were ignorant. The people being judged here are the wicked of all ages. They will include those who refused to listen to the Prophets before and after the flood, those who refused to obey the commandments of God given through Israel, those who rejected the righteous influence of the Church, those who refused to repent during the Great Tribulation, and those who were disobedient during the Millennial Kingdom.  Matthew 10:11-15, Mark 6:10-11, Matthew 11:20-24, Luke 10:1-16

  • I tell you My friends, Do not fear those who kill the body and then can go no farther. I will show you whom you should fear, FEAR THE ONE WHO, AFTER KILLING THE BODY, HAS POWER TO CAST YOU INTO HELL. YES, I SAY TO YOU, FEAR HIM.  Luke 12:4-5
